Thomson Reuters is the global market leader for financial data and news for investors and media. The company has worldwide more than 160 stock exchanges and OTC markets integrated and provides quotes and master data for more than 8 million financial instruments. Strategic cooperation agreements between Reuters AG and financial.com have been in place since 2001.
In the beginning of 2006, all agreements were transfered to the parent company Reuters Ltd in London. Thomson Reuters and financial.com jointly develop and operate customized solutions for professional web-based information and advisory systems.
Derivative Partners
Derivative Partners AG is a bank-independent company based in Basle (Switzerland). Its business activities focus on growing derivate markets, offering innovative services, training courses and products along the entire value enhancement chain. At the forefront of its activities are the cultivation and marketing of a high-quality warrant feed and the development of actuarial models in the field of derivative financial instruments.Since 1999 Derivative Partners ranks amongst financial.com’s permanent (Proofreader's note: 'firm' is also correct but in this context could be confused with business firm (i.e. company), better option may be "permanent") partner companies. In order to strengthen this partnership, financial.com acquired 6% of the company's capital stock in 2001.
