Thomson Reuter’s Derivative-Analysis System obtains Trading Access

At the end of October 2010, Thomson Reuter’s derivative-analysis system, SDN (Securitised Derivative Network), will become a new market place: SDN Plus customers will then be able to also trade in German, Austrian and Swiss derivatives via Thomson Reuters’ integrated order frontend. Their counterparts will not only be the established stock exchange centres, but also the issuers themselves. Another feature of SDN Plus is the revised Excel link designed to facilitate processing of the inserted market price data in streaming quality.

SDN and SDM Plus are Thomson Reuters’ central derivative analysis platforms for the German-speaking markets. Build on financial.com’s successful market data platform NGP, they comprise an interactive, freely configurable frontend container and smoothly process the most diverse data sources, including end-customer sources. SDN and SDN Plus are available to all users of Thomson Reuters’ premium products such as Xtra, RWM and Trader, and will become a future component of the Eikon Terminal Suite.
