financial.coms NGP market data platform supplies Austria’s largest banking group with current stock exchange and economic data

A mammoth project has been successfully completed: For several days, the NGP market data platform has been operating at the heart of Austria’s largest banking group. Created on behalf of the IT service provider, Ecetra Internet Services AG in Vienna, it is now supplying more than 50,000 users on the Internet & intranet of Erste Bank AG and the Austrian Savings Banks with current stock exchange and economic data. In addition to the market data feeds of our cooperation partner, Thomson Reuters, many of the customer’s own data sources were also integrated into the NGP platform without any barriers.

Brokerjet is now the largest brokerage platform on the Austrian Internet. More than 40,000 end users trade and manage their portfolios online here. Through a special financial.com interface, the www.brokerjet.at website is currently supplied with a wide range of prices and news from Thomson Reuters and the operator, Ecetra.

WPISI is the standard terminal in the intranet of Erste Bank AG and the Austrian Savings Banks. So far, more than 6000 users have conveniently been able to access stock exchange information from Thomson Reuters and their own research departments, as well as important notifications for customer and the sales department. The underlying platform combines 19 data sources of diverse origin and quality and allows the simple configuration of frontends and workflows using state-of-the-art AJAX technology. The WPISI terminal is language-adaptive and is used in the customer’s active regions in Eastern Europe, as well as in the Austrian market.

NGP (Next Generation Platform) is financial.com’s integrated approach for supplying its customers with market data. The platform can combine diverse data sources (internal/external) in one data model and offers its customers the possibility of quickly and straightforwardly creating frontends and interfaces through an interactive module kit (AJAX, iGoogle like). The configuration of the client-capable applications is supported by an automated administration and entitlement system, which has standardised interfaces to established database systems (SAP, Siebel).
